Associate UX Designer for Virtual Reality

Position: Full-Time

Location: Provo, UT

Description:

Full-Time 3 month contract that may evolve into full-time employment with benefits (assuming you like us, and we like you!). Candidate will join a team of designers, working side-by-side with developers. Candidate needs to be passionate about design and aesthetics, be tech-savvy, and have strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Qualifications:

1-3 years UX work experience
Ability and willingness to learn new tools
Candidate can demonstrate an understanding of:

  • Interface design
  • User research and usability testing practices
  • Iterative design processes
  • User empathy

Special consideration for candidates with experience in:

  • VR UX
  • Unity
  • 3D modelling
  • Graphic design

Responsibilities:

Ideating on possible solutions

Delivering spec that is clear for developers

Associate Software Engineer

Position: Full-Time Entry-Level

Location: Salt Lake City or Provo, UT

Description:

Full-Time 3 month contract that may evolve into a full-time employment opportunity with stock options and benefits (assuming you like us, and we like you!). Candidate will join a team of software developers and designers building virtual reality software for business (i.e. Oculus Rift). Candidate should be skillful in software engineering and familiar with the C# programming language and have some Unity experience.

Work closely with UI and Design teams to iterate designs

Own the development of smaller features

Continually test, debug, and optimize existing code

Contribute innovative and original ideas on all aspects of the product as well as VR ideas

Network Operations Intern

Position: Part-Time Intern/ Entry Level

Location: Provo, Utah

Description:

Part time opportunity to work with an upcoming startup on helping to manage our networking environment. Candidate will join a team of software developers and designers building virtual reality software for business (i.e. Oculus Rift). Candidate will join a team redefining productivity and collaboration through network back-end support.

Qualifications:

Our microcloud is based on Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and Hyper-v 2016.  VM containers are Linux-based.  Databases are mySQL and PostgreSQL.  Web servers are Apache, NGINX, and IIS.  We use VPNs, certificates, SSL, SSH, TCP, UDP, RDP, HTTP/HTTPS, Firewalls, load balancers, backup strategies.  We integrate with AWS and Azure.  Our networks are Gigabit Ethernet and we use VLANs.
