At vSpatial it is our mission to reimagine the way people collaborate and share information. In short, vSpatial is collaboration, reimagined, in a virtual world. As a means of accomplishing our mission, when you use the vSpatial Services, Software, and Site(s), we collect certain information that, among other things, helps us improve your experience. We recognize that when you use the Services, you trust us with your information. We want you to understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meanings assigned to them in the vSpatial Terms of Service.
- What kinds of information we collect
1.1. Information you provide. Our Services require you to sign up for an account. When you do, we will ask for Personal Information such as your name, email address, telephone number or credit card to store with your account. You may also provide us with profile information including a photo and your name.
1.2. Things you do. We collect information about how you use the Services, such as the frequency and duration of your use.
1.3. Things others do. We collect information about how others use the Services, including when they interact with you and the frequency and the duration of their interaction with you.
1.4. Device information. We collect device-specific information (such as your hardware model, operating system version, head mounted display (HMD) identifiers, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information, including phone number).
1.5. Log information. When you use our Services, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This may include:
1.5.1. Details of how you used our Services.
1.5.2. Telephony log information, such as your phone number, calling-party number, forwarding numbers, time and date of calls, duration of calls, SMS routing information and types of calls.
1.5.3. Internet protocol address.
1.5.4. Device event information, such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, referral URL, and HMD events.
1.5.5. Cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
1.5.6. Meeting meta data including shared speech-to-text, emotion, data objects and other types of shared communication meta data. This does not include private data, which is not shared.
1.6. Location information. When you use our Services, we may collect and process information about your actual location. We use various technologies to determine location, including IP address, GPS, and other sensors that may, for example, provide vSpatial with information on nearby devices, Wi-Fi access points and mobile towers.
1.7. Unique application numbers. The Services include a unique application number. This number and information about your installation (for example, the operating system type and application version number) may be sent to vSpatial when you install or uninstall the Services or when the Services periodically contact our servers, such as for automatic updates.
1.8. Local storage. We may collect and store information (including Personal Information) locally on your device using mechanisms such as browser web storage (including HTML 5) and application data caches.
1.9. Cookies and similar technologies. We and our partners use various technologies to collect and store information when you visit a vSpatial Service, and this may include using cookies or similar technologies to identify your browser or device.
- How we use information we collect
2.1. We may display your profile name, profile photo and actions you take on the Services or related websites (such as reviews you write or comments you make), including displaying in ads and other commercial contexts.
We use the information we collect from our Services to provide, maintain, protect, and improve them, to develop new ones and to protect vSpatial and you. We also use this information to offer you tailored content.
When you contact vSpatial, we keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues you might be facing. We may use your email address to inform you about the Services.
We use information collected from cookies and other technologies, like pixel tags, to improve your user experience and the overall quality of our services. We may analyze your Content to provide you personally relevant product features and to improve our Services.
We may process your Personal Information on a server located outside of the country where you live.
- Information that we share
We do not share Personal Information with companies, organizations, and individuals outside of vSpatial unless one of the following circumstances applies.

We will share Personal Information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of vSpatial if we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
4.1. Meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request.
4.2. Enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations.
4.3. Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.
4.4. Protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of vSpatial, our users, or the public, as required or permitted by law.
We may share non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners, like publishers, advertisers, or connected sites.
- Information security
We work hard to protect our users and vSpatial from unauthorized access to or unauthorized disclosure or destruction of information that we hold. In particular:
5.1. We encrypt our Authentication Services using SSL.
5.2. We may offer you two-step verification when you access your vSpatial account.
5.3. We review our information collection, storage, and processing practices, to guard against unauthorized access to systems.
5.4. We restrict access to Personal Information to vSpatial employees, contractors, and agents who need to know that information in order to process it for us and who are subject to contractual confidentiality obligations.
